Agathe lives with her husband Fred, their teenage daughter Louise and seventeen year old Mathias, Fred's son from a previous marriage. After meeting Mathias's long estranged mother, who is now dying, she suspects her husband may be cheating on her... but when approached by a detective asking questions about an apparent suicide in a hotel he was staying at for a conference she fears Fred has committed worse sins than adultery. She is determined to protect the children but soon she is real danger.

This is a really tense psychological drama from Belgium It starts like a typical mystery but it isn't long before the viewer learns the truth; or at least enough to know that Fred is not the loving husband Agathe believed him to be. He is controlling and possibly very dangerous. He also has an answer to every question and can manipulate Agathe even after she learns his secret. The cast do a fine job; especially Laura Sepul as the increasingly troubled Agathe and Lannick Gautry who is genuinely frightening as Fred. There is a really claustrophobic atmosphere that keeps the viewer on edge. Overall I'd certainly recommend this to fans of Euro drama.
