Zinn Arthur was a renowned Orchestra leader who became one of Hollywood's most famous celebrity photographers when the "big band" era began to fade after World War II.
His father changed their surname to Zinberg. After he formed his first band in high school, he shortened his name to Arty Zinn and later changed it to Zinn Arthur. He led a big band before World War II and toured with Irving Berlin's This Is the Army show during the war.
