Steve Jobs' Marketing Ability And Being A Salesman In Full Display

"Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview" was a documentary of an hour interview made by Robert X. Cringely for the 1995 documentary "Triumph Of The Nerds". The interview was made when Steve Jobs was running Next Computers after he was booted out from Apple Computer by Apple CEO John Sculley a decade earlier. He gives his opinions on the future of software and that of Apple Computer. This was done before he came back to Apple two years later.

The documentary was definitely made after Steve Jobs passed away. Evidently, it would generate interest about the Apple CEO before he passed away after the company achieved unprecedent success during his tenure. While it would be interesting for Steve Jobs fans particularly at that period of his career, this would also exhibit his marketing appeal and how great of a salesman Jobs is that many viewers would lionize him a true visionary when actually, he was just a great salesman and that would mask his image of him being a tyrant boss that would push his employees particularly engineers and inventors to the limit and to the point of hating him.
