A film about one Korean adoptees return to Seoul, South Korea to search for his birth family.

In addition to owning the DVD, I have been fortunate enough to see this film at the KAAN conference (Korean American Adoptive families Network) and at a screening in Rochester, NY. I became a parent through adoption, as my own children were born in Korea. Each and every time I see it, I am moved to tears. John Sanvidge does a wonderful job of showing the range of feelings that such a search creates for the adoptee, as well as for his or her family. The film is genuine, informative, and thought-provoking. I am looking forward to the day when my own children will be old enough to watch it with me. It will be a valuable experience for us all.
