A thrilling but all-too-brief fire lookout horror

This is a nice addition to horror movies featuring a fire lookout. In many ways, it's also quite characteristic of the genre. A young woman is stationed at a remote fire lookout, with a walkie-talkie as her only means of communication. It's nighttime, and she hears strange noises. On top of that, she receives a desperate call for help. She ventures into the forest to investigate and discovers a mysterious substance.

The acting is pretty decent, and whatever special effects this short horror film has are quite nice. As in any creature feature, the main character makes some questionable decisions, but I guess that's part of what makes films like these horror films. After all, making smart, rational moves wouldn't be too exciting-would it?
