One Angry Juror

Original Posting: When Sarah sums up to the jury the courtroom clock reads 10.45 and when she receives a call to say the jury has came to a verdict the large clock shows 12.15 but Sarah says the jury has only been out for half an hour. Actually, the time that Sarah concluded her summation is not the end of the proceeding. The judge would have to give instructions to the jury, which could take some time. So, assuming it took an hour for the judge to charge the jury and then get them situated in the jury room, it is possible that the jury only deliberated for a half hour. The parties (the prosecution and the defense) would have still been present in the court room for the jury instructions, so Sarah would know when the jury would have been dismissed to deliberate and approximately what time deliberations would have started.
