D'orothea Wilson is shown on the cover of the July 1976 issue of Harper's Bazaar. Although the issue is fictitious, the rest the cover is very similar to that on the real magazine cover for that month, largely using the same text, font colors and faces and even mimicking their placement on the page. The actual cover photo that month, however, was of Swedish model, actress and two-time Bond girl Maud Adams, alongside the tagline "Maud Adams - Separated & Secure". The lead headline for the issue, "America's Divorced Woman", has also been dropped from the recreation, and Wilson's name added in place of Adams'.

Goofs
The doctor's receptionist reads a San Francisco Chronicle newspaper which bears the headline "Now Patty Faces a 35-Year Term", a real front-page story about the conviction of Patricia Hearst which ran in the paper on March 21, 1976. However, atop the same page is another headline declaring that "Hurricane Belle Hits Long Island". This didn't take place until almost five months later, on August 10, 1976.
