The rule these days is "If you see something, say something", but the commentary condemns people who are concerned enough to care. Unfortunately our society has deteriorated in the past few decades, to the point where crime has dramatically increased. And concerned citizens who are brave enough to call attention to a situation which appears to be unusual should be praised, not ridiculed. Unfortunately, a shabbily-dressed black guy driving a car with two white kids in the back looks odd to most people. The lady who was concerned enough to ask should have been praised, not made out to be a busybody.
