WOODS WITCH follows a couple of influencer pairs into the woods to investigate the disappearance of another influencer there which may be related to the legend of the eponymous witch. Along the way, they run into an assortment of odd characters as their group grows ever larger.

I think this film was intended as a farce, but at the same time, the chaotic proceedings betray a lack of control over how this film was supposed to realize this vision as a farce.

There is an outline of a plot, but the actual plot is a mess; the performances among the large cast are wildly uneven, ranging from amateurish to actually decent (mainly the female protagonist and the woman who seduces her); it is clear that everything is winged here, and as a result most of the attempts at humor fall flat while some scenes end up being unintentionally funny. It is really too bad because this film dares to go places most films would not.

Overall, most people are likely to be turned off by this, unless one is an enjoyer of messy, out-there movies or just stoned.
