    • Trivia
      John Liu originally shot the film in 1984 in New York City, but it remained unfinished, until Vinegar Syndrome found the original unedited camera negative in their archives. With the sound elements lost, producer and editor Kurtis Spieler finished the film by hiring a new cast to dub the voices. As the script was lost as well, Spieler cut the film together first, then he wrote a completely new story and dialogues to make the story coherent.

      When the wife is stabbed at the start of the film, the knife is obviously made of a soft, flexible material, since it's bending as she grasps it.
