I have to admit, this movie does not quite reach the emotional level of the first Despicable Me. That story felt more universal, while Minions and Monsters feels like a more personal project that will probably connect more strongly with a specific audience.

But I absolutely enjoyed it.

The movie is full of jokes and pop culture references, and the best part is that they are woven into the story naturally instead of feeling forced. It is a very light, kind, and entertaining film that simply leaves you with a good feeling after watching it.

I had a great time with it. If you are a fan of the Minions, this is definitely worth watching!
