Some swear words are used inappropriately by Janine's mom over a phone call. They are blocked out, but it's obvious what she says and how she uses it.

Some scenes contain mild sexual references, mostly comes to principal Ava.

Jacob states that at a teaching program he went to, in their free time they played cards and "had sex" with each other.

Mellissa makes reference to Barbara's email sending "explicit content"

The kids sometimes cuss, but not as much as the adults.

People drink at a party in the holiday episode

Melissa drinks a few times.

Lots of talk about drugs and alcohol, etc, in the "smoking episode" after a student is found smoking.

A rug in a second grade room is referred to as "Xanax" for kids. Mildly reference to xanax.

Jacob is addicted to vaping and is shown diving into a trash can to get his vape pen back, although it's not mentioned many more times is brought up a few times by teachers and students in the same episode.

Even though 98% of the show is comedy, there are a couple mildly deep parts and sad topics. Like family running away and bad family relationships.

Some fights between co-workers. A lot of it is comedic, but some last throughout the episode and have slightly intense climaxes.

Season 2 is actually more sad than the first one to be honest. Season 1 focuses on comedy and the teachers trying to make the school better and get along, and season 2 actually has some upsetting moments and is a lot different than the first season.
