I honestly did not expect the ending. My only complaint is the transitioning in this, but considering it was made in 2008, it's understandable. For a movie in tht year as well, it is very well off and interesting! It's basically the journey of a doctor who suffers from addiction but the more you watch, the more you see that it is not that easy to quit. You get immersed in his shoes and really feel the tension of expectations and self control. Which is also enriched by the props and setting shown. Everything is time-appropriate and brings you back to 1917. For anyone searching for russian movies, this is definitely recommended!
