- Namiko Takeda: So does someone else.
- Casey Bowman: You know we don't have time for such things in the dojo.

- Masazuka: It must have been very painful for you.
- Casey Bowman: It's in the past.

- Masazuka: [to desk sergeant] I'm here for Namiko Takeda. She was arrested earlier today. I'm her attorney.
- Detective Vukovich: [on phone; talking to desk sergeant] Okay, send him in. I'll meet him in my office.
- [to Namiko]
- Detective Vukovich: Your lawyer just showed up.
- Namiko Takeda: [confused] My... lawyer?
- Det. Traxler: That's quite a story, Casey. So... you're saying that this 'Masazuka' guy, who nobody's seen or heard of, is after you... to retrieve a... box...?
- Casey Bowman: The Yoroi Bitsu.
- Det. Traxler: Right. So where is it?
- Casey Bowman: I... can't tell you that.
- Det. Traxler: Why not?
- [power suddenly goes out; Traxler jumps to his feet, leaving Casey cuffed to the table]
- Casey Bowman: That's him. Masazuka! He's here!
- Det. Traxler: [with heavy sarcasm] I'll send him your regards.
- [leaves]
