He surpasses the previous record between solo appearances of 27 years held by Jeff Bridges, who hosted in Beau and Jeff Bridges/Randy Newman (1983) and Jeff Bridges/Eminem and Lil Wayne (2010), as well as Mick Jagger's 34 year gap between hosting with The Rolling Stones in The Rolling Stones (1978) and solo in Mick Jagger (2012).
