How to Animate

Director Jordan Wood cast David Allen Pratt (from a number of possible voice artists) through casting agent Anthony Reece. The animation was being produced in England but the voice actor/recording studio was in the US; as a result all discussions between the director and actor happened via the Internet. The dialogue was recorded before animation production began, and in just two takes.

Believing he has completed his animation Wally stands to leave his desk, when corrected by the narrator he faints and falls to the floor. Director Jordan Wood intended a sound effect to accompany the faint/fall but it was accidentally left out of the final sound mix.
