The UK release was cut, cuts were required to remove material which was both abusive (women gagging and choking during sexual activity; men placing their feet on a woman's face and neck: a woman's face being forced into a mattress) and harmful (breath restriction during sex) in order to obtain an R18 classification in accordance with BBFC Guidelines, Policy and the Video Recordings Act 1984. An uncut classification was not available.
