Viva Piñata is a really fun gardening simulation game. It has a lot of options, especially when it tells the story about Jardiniero's family and why Professor Pester became a piñata poacher when you get to the storybook in the journal. The graphics are also very creative, especially when you enter a world of Piñata Island. And at least the graphics are better than the quality of the show the game was based on. And the gameplay are fun that allows the players to play with both the gardening skills and the piñatas that are resided. However, there are some issues with the game. Let's start by saying there are times it can get a little slow. Some of the players have to wait for piñatas to visit the garden and it would take Gretchen forever to catch a piñata. The other issue is I get that, they're the bad animals and want to make them look scary. But the designs on some of the sour piñatas look a little outdated like the Sour Macaraccon and the Sour Profitimole. That and its sequel are not just the last time Rare made something good, but also a good change to make a simulation game.
