In later years, attempts to replicate cash via copy machines or scanning devices have been discovered to not work like it used to in this segment. Turns out there are special patterns on many paper currency that will either stop it from making a copy, keep you from editing or replicating it when scanned into software, or make a copy but it will be all glitched in appearance. In 2002 a man discovered many of those bills have various dots secretly lined in the currency, and also they have many line patterns that work like a barcode so the system can tell it's genuine cash attempting to be duplicated.
