Sarah Jane is taken prisoner by The Queens Guards, a nasty fate awaits her.

Something about this story just feels a bit off to me, and I cannot work our what it is, is it simply because it's padded out, is it perhaps some of the acting, or possibly the direction. I just find it very, very slow, everything is done at such leisurely pace, The Doctor for example, continues to eat his mutton broth, as Sarah faces being eaten. It's all so casual.

I'm not a huge lover of the spiders, and I keep on hearing Alpha Centauri.

If I think of what's putting me off, I'll add more, it's ok on the whole, I just think they the great third Doctor deserved a better send off story.
