Mae Busch goes out motoring, while husband Harry McCoy stays home under the supervision of rolling-pin-wielding mother-in-law Venice Hayes. She'll make sure he does the yard chores! But McCoy recruits tramp David Morris to mow the lawn while he sneaks off to a saloon. By the time it's over, every one of them will have wished they hadn't been involved in any of it.

And the result is another Keystone comedy that puts the hex sign on middle-class life. Nowadays we don't see that, because the signs of behavior have changed so much. But at the time this was not just violent, chaotic comedy. It also made fun of the people its lower-class audiences envied.
