While Cliffjumper's suspicions about Mirage's loyalty come out of nowhere in the cartoon, it is derived from his original toy bio which states he is unsure if the Autobot cause and cannot be fully trusted. The Marvel comic also gave him a small character arc in early issues where he questioned his loyalty to the Autobots.

Goofs
In one shot, Megatron walks past two Starscreams. One of them is probably supposed to be another character (either Skywarp or Thundercracker), but the colorist painted him with Starscream's colors.
