It is the end of the sixth series. Writer Johnny Speight tackles the horny question as to whether Else will return from Australia.

While Alf is in the pub with Bert, discussing trans women and women Prime Ministers. One of the most notable ones in that era was Golda Meir in Israel.

Alf is unaware that Else has sent a letter. She wants Rita, Mike and the baby to come over to Australia. It is the land of opportunity. Even Bert and Min know Else is not planning to return.

Predictably Alf goes ballistic when he hears about the letter.

Only Bert and Min ask Alf to move with him them. He would only have to pay for board and lodging, he will need to bring over his colour television and three piece suite.

Else has been missed in this series although she was there for the opening episode. Min and Alf have tried to bridge the gap.
