Beauty and the Beast

The characters of Clara, the beast's servant, the mysterious fairy did not feature in the original story. Instead, the beast in his human form as a handsome prince appeared in Beauty's dreams instead of the wicked fairy, telling her to see past ugliness instead of warning her about the cruel heart of the beast.

In the last scene, when the prince smiles at seeing Beauty's dress magically change, his eyebrows alter from black to blonde between frames.

When the film was originally released, the film opened crediting the American Film Investment Corporation, the production company for the film. In subsequent releases, its successor company Golden Films and new distributor GoodTimes Entertainment were credited instead. For the DVD release in 2002, the "Children's Classics" opening from Jetlag Productions' animated releases was attached to the film.
