Piotr Kamler's One Ephemeral Mission is another of his fascinating abstractly animated films

Just watched this animated abstract short directed by Piotr Kamler on YouTube as linked from the Cartoon Brew site's comments section under the heading about just mentioned animator. Like the previous film of his I just reviewed-L'araignelephant, The Spider Elephant-this one is also scored by Bernard Parmegiani who provides many fascinating electronic sounds throughout. Once again, while the visuals are also very interesting to watch, they're also hard to describe but what I can say is that it begins with a white circular sphere that becomes halved with cubes forming inside. A robot then emerges from that and then...well, you'll just have to see for yourself. Like I said, not very easy to understand but if you're interested, I do recommend One Ephemeral Mission.
