For safety and sanitary purposes, this would not be allowed. Long necklaces or wrist jewelry run the risk of touching and contaminating wounds or supplies that must be kept sterile or clean. Generally, a watch, wedding band and simple post earrings are the only types of jewelry that are acceptable when on duty.
