When Carter is picking the lock to the assassin's house she's using the lock picking tools incorrectly. The tension wrench should be relatively stationary, applying tension to the cylinder while the rake manipulates the tumblers. In this case, the rake was stationary while the tension wrench was rattling around really doing nothing.
