How many of us kids remember this mini classic? A take-off on the famous HONEYMOONERS episode where Norton drove Ralph crazy being a sleepwalker. What writer Mickey Rose did was tell it in reverse -- instead of sleepwalking, it's INSOMNIA. And a bad, bad case for Felix.

Felix was the perfect choice, because everything seemed to bother him or catch up to him all at once. Tony Randall plays this 100 percent. On the other side, it's Oscar who has to be the compassionate roomy, doing all he can to get Felix back to sleeeeep. I agree, the fairy tale readings are outrageous. Little Red Riding Hood???

A bit of Laurel and Hardy tossed in too; remembering Stan Laurel reading a bedtime story to Ollie back in the day. The similarities are there. These guys are nuts, and listen to audience howl. They are having a good ole time. Nice bit by Al Molinaro, Murray, our favorite big hearted cop. We always loved him, and who probably would have made a better room-mate for Felix because they were much alike.

Writer Mickey Rose, one talented guy, is best known for writing the comedy monologues for Johnny Carson. In all, he wrote nearly 1000 episodes for the TONIGHT SHOW. Has to be some kind of a record there.
