Bottom line, the guys somehow lose a frog that belongs to Felix's son, Leonard (Leif Garrett). Did he jump out the door -- or worse -- out the darn window? Anywho, our heroes are stuck to make it up to poor Leonard and get a new frog at the pet store. There's also a frog jumping contest!

Stahl plays Buck, who owns the store and is a work of art. The guy is full of hilarious one liners, not particularly nice, but funny as heck. Dick Bernsfield, who wrote the script, got ABC a bit nervous about some of the bits. Buck claims the frog is depressed about Watergate, the episode filmed not too long after President Nixon resigned from office. More of a time capsule today.

Super episode and an early appearance for actor and singer Leif Garrett, who yes, turns in a good performance. Mel Ferber directed, known for the JOEY BISHOP SHOW, many other classic sitcoms.

Note, may have been inspired by the famous BRADY BUNCH frog jumping contest episode. Worth mentioning for all us kids of the 70s.
