At 36:43 (mm:ss) the EMT feels for a pulse then says "alright, I can't get a pulse! Let's go!" Then proceeds loading the patient into the back of the ambulance. The correct protocol for loss of pulse is to administer CPR immediately and work towards stabilizing the patient. Not load and run. By ignoring procedure they put their patient in more danger. Firstly, the time wasted loading the patient, then assuming in the scenario presented here, that one drives while the other attempts CPR en route to the hospital, means a poor quality resuscitation attempt from being tossed around and not have their partner to share the work load with administering drugs, securing an airway and taking turns with the compressions. All of which must come first for the best chance of a positive outcome.
