It is a case of puppy love for Robin as his friend Larry has several puppies to give away.

The problem is the Ropers have a no animal rule for their tenants, but Chrissy, Jo and Robin do not want to get rid off the one Larry left with them to give to the pub landlord.

It means Robin reluctantly has to keep a puppy which has a bit of a bite and hide it from the Ropers. However Robin sees a solution when Mildred thinks she has seen a puppy walk into the house.

A nice episode to end the first series. The puppies were cute. Robin who cooks something for the pup sees the food being taken away by Mildred who gives it as a treat for George.
