The music played on the radio here is all cover versions by anonymous studio musicians and not by the original artists. This is because licensing rights to the song were not secured before the show went to syndication. Even though original songs may have been cleared for the original broadcast they rarely show up in syndication of show from Magnum's time frame. Nowadays this isn't a problem as shows have much higher budgets to pay for them.

Goofs
As Magnum and TC take off in the chopper to search for Holly, the birthday sign for Higgins is attached, but is absent in the next scene of the chopper speeding over the coastline. It is back again in the next scene as the chopper rises above the lookout.
