Goofs
When TC was experiencing problems with his helicopter supposedly from the curse, he said "the mixture is too rich". But his helicopter is a Hughes/MD 500 which has a jet turbine engine and does not have a mixture control. Only piston engine aircraft have one.

As originally aired as part one of a two-part crossover, the villain escapes to California, setting up part two in Simon & Simon's, Emeralds Are Not a Girl's Best Friend (1982). In the syndicated ending, the villain is caught, allowing both series to air independently of each other.
