Blood and Honor

Magnum retired from the Navy at the rank of Lieutenant. In a later story he was brought back in as a Lieutenant Commander. In this story he is brought back in a second time and with promotion to the rank of Commander. The first time he was back, he was only in for a week. In a time of peace, where there is no combat involved, t is rare to serve only for a week at one rank before being promoted again. and usually such promotions are not permanent.

Magnum is arrested for espionage and is to be held in custody pending a court martial. He escapes and the security personnel are alerted. Despite this, he is able to enter the base and exit without being stopped.
