Not necessarily. If you notice how close it is between two tents you can see that the tents will provide it with quite a bit of protection from the wind. As long as whatever is at the back of the tent is not an opening, the only wind is coming from the front. Since the wind coming from over the tent is not strong enough to knock down the tent the cages should be fine.
