Goofs
Winchester offers Hunnicut a glass of 12 year old scotch. Hawkeye washes to join in and is told the scotch is only for he and Hunnicut as they are working the story for the medical journal, and advised by Winchester that Hawkeye can have a drink when he is asked to write a story for the medical journal, then adding that by the time that happens, it will be 50 year old scotch.

While it is undoubtedly simply an insult to Hawkeye, Winchester - considering his breeding - would know that scotch does not age in the bottle. It only ages in the cask. Therefore a12 year old scotch does not age after bottling. Winchester works certainly know this fact.
