Our Finest Hour

This is the only episode of the series to feature the entire series cast, both past and present. Original cast members McLean Stevenson, Wayne Rogers and Larry Linville (who play Lt. Col. Henry Blake, "Trapper" John McIntire, and Maj. Frank Burns, respectively) all appear via archive footage/clips. All three had left the series long before this episode.

During the "Adams Ribs" segment, Hawkeye throws his food against the tent wall behind Radar and Klinger. You don't see the food when the camera is far away, then it reappears on Radar and Klinger's close up and then it's gone again on the wider shot.

While broadcast as a one-hour program, syndicated versions are edited into two parts. The syndicated version however, has been the only version of the episode available since the original network broadcast, both in syndication and on the Season 7 DVD set. On the DVD set, a disclaimer is added that says that the original master was damaged and unusable for the DVD set.
