Goofs
The Captain sending Gofer outside in the hurricane to check the roof. If the roof had been damaged, they would have noticed it inside the shack - it did not have a ceiling. Even if it did, the rain would have come pouring in. Plus, even if the roof had been damaged, they couldn't do anything about it during the storm.
