Goofs
The total elapsed time from the discovery of the victim to the end of trial is less than six weeks. This includes the detectives traveling to California twice, the DAs once and the trial and verdict. At the VERY least, the events would have taken more than a calendar year, especially given Eddie Newman's (the defendant) wealth and expensive team of attorneys.
