The average revolver weighs between 1 and 2 pounds, so if things are 12 times larger on giant land, the gun the little people try to set up would weight no more than 24 pounds. They could easily maneuver it and not have to struggle with it as depicted.

That's not how physics works. The weight would not simply be 12 times, but 12x12x12 times. The weight of the giant revolver would be 3456 lbs (nearly 1.75 tons) assuming its weight to the giants were 2 lbs.
