Trivia
During the taping of this episode somebody snuck in a color camera and filmed bits and pieces of the episode. The footage is the only color footage of the Tropicana and the Ricardo's apartment. The footage can be found strung together with the actual episode on the I Love Lucy seasons 7, 8, & 9 DVD.

Goofs
In Ricky and Lucy's apartment, Buffo the Clown clearly jumps from the bicycle and through the door before its brakes supposedly "lock".

Alternate versions
In the first scene of episode #1.06 "The Audition", Lucy holds up a packet of cigarettes produced by the shows sponsor Phillip Morris Cigarettes. In its 1956 re-run this line was cut from the original negative and discarded. The line has been restored for the DVD release of "I Love Lucy".
