Beautiful Dee Wallace plays Connie, a lady with a young son (Randy Gray) and a good for nothin' husband. To land some fast cash, Connie is forced to dump her son (literally) at Jonathan's door. Hello Sugar Daddy!

The (secret) question... Could the boy be his son (for reals?), considering he was a bachelor with many lady friends, long before Jennifer?

I agree, Mrs. H takes this in stride and it isn't long before they're on their way to get the truth from mommy dearest, particularly when Jonathan, Jr is kidnapped. What a trippy trip.

BEST SCENE; Runyonesque. Max reading a bedtime story to Junior. Beeeeeautifully done, Uncle Max. Why we miss Lionel Stander, fondly remembered for the original A STAR IS BORN (1937).

Not too much info on Randy Gray, a cute kid. A shame he did not return to the show. His claim to fame was playing Elvis as a child in a popular tv movie. All us horror and sci fi buffs will always remember Dee Wallace from E. T. and CUJO.

Wonderful writing by Vicki King, who later became a book author.
