Downhill to Death

The snow mobile chase has very similar characteristics to the chase scene in James Bond For Your Eyes Only in Cortina, both last similar length of time and both have the dramatic music to accompany it.

Jennifer enlists Jonathan's help to prevent the ski resort murder of their acquaintance's wife Kate, by her husband Halsey Matthews and his mistress, Marina Belson. Yet later, when Marina knocks on Kate's door and tells the Harts that she wants to speak with Kate "in private", the Harts oblige and leave the two alone, without a second thought. This is out of character for both of them, particularly considering that Jennifer is the one who overheard this woman speaking of with her lover of killing his wife Kate, and already one person is dead. Yet, they both leave Kate with her would be killer, without a care in the world, with no protesting, without even listening at the door for trouble, nor checking on her at all.
