Goofs
When Nancy, George and Ned first visit the lighthouse with the policeman, it is stated in dialogue that it is supposed to be the middle of the night. However the sky is brilliant blue with clouds visible, suggesting the scene takes place in broad daylight. (In the 70s such "day for night" shooting was commonplace, but you usually didn't end up with bright blue sky in the background).
