The scenes where the getaway bus is chased were filmed along the recently completed but unopened section of the M25 London Orbital Motorway. The scenes were likely filmed around junction 9 for Leatherhead as contractor signs advertising Balfour Beatty can be seen attached to the bridge parapets. Filming took place in mid 1985 and the road was opened on 7th October 1985.
