In 1961, "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" brough us "The Right Kind of Medicine". I saw it and hated it...mostly because the twist just didn't make any sense. But can this 1980s remake be any better? Well, it certainly couldn't be worse!

Joe is an awful person...even for an ex-con. When the story begins, he robs a bank and kills a man in the process. He is shot during this exchange and goes to see a drunk doctor who has lost his practice to get patched up. After he fixes Joe's wound and gives him a prescription for pain, Joe kills him! Later after he gets the prescription filled, when he sees the pharmacy tech coming to his house, without any warning, she shoots and kills this poor guy. Three murders...but of course, there will be a twist.

The problem with both episodes is the twist. How could a pharmacist, even if they are rushed, give a presciption out which is poison? It just makes zero sense. But the show, up until then, was well done and it's nice to see the aged Lyle Talbot in the episode.
