In the 1980s, the 1950s-60s show "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" was rebooted. Unfortunately, many of these new episodes are remakes of older episodes...and in only a few cases are they as good or better than the originals. "Beast in View" is one of these remakes. Is it better, worse or the same? Well, it could be an improvement as the original, while good, was quite flawed.

A lady psychologist has just gotten remarried and is receiving all sorts of threatening calls and letters. And, it turns out the crazed caller is serious, as soon the woman's pet doberman is found slaughtered by, presumably, this mad person. Who is this person and why??

In some ways, I think "Beast in View" is better as a remake. I think psychologically speaking the twist is VERY hard to believe, it is pretty neat and makes the show worth seeing. Aside from a bit of overacting, a good and strange episode.
