This is the second of four appearances in the series by Josie Lloyd (Vera Carson), who was the daughter of Norman Lloyd, the series' associate producer and occasional actor and director of episodes (including the next episode, one of its most celebrated, "The Man from the South"). She would also make three appearances in the successor series, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.

Goofs
After Laura Siddons' first day, she is seen waiting at the bus stop in order to get home. A moment later, the car with the girls drives up, and they offer Siddons a ride home. After they get under way, the car is seen to be driven with the gearshift lever in the "park" position.
