Uninspired magazine artist Anthony Marsh is struggling with both the heat and his model, after a temperamental outburst, he sits by his window, and hears the woman opposite pour her heart out over the phone, and consider suicide.

I thought there'd be a little more love for Open Window, not least because of Michael Higgins, and Nurse Ratched herself, Louise Fletcher, but because this is one very effective storyline, with a killer twist at the end.

It's more a psychological thriller than anything, is someone purposefully playing a cruel trick on Anthony, or is he going out of his mind, triggered by heat and stress?

Well acted, it looks good and it definitely has a creepy vibe, that twist was very well delivered, I didn't see it coming.

A similar plot was used in ITV series Afterlife, an episode where a medium foretells a death in a new, dream home.
