Mely Tagasa is in the movie, playing a school staff, a role she had been typecast since playing Miss Tapia in Iskul bukol (1977). This movie starred Keempee De Leon whose father Joey De Leon is one of Miss Tapia's student in Iskul bukol (1977). This is the first film that Mely Tagasa and Keempee De Leon were in the same movie, this was followed by Okey si ma'am (1995), in which Mely Tagasa played a teacher and Keempee De Leon a student. The third movie they were together was the reunion Iskul Bukol film, Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After (The Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure) (2008).
